We are looking for a Senior Engineer for one of our digital hubs helping build our modern content platform.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be a Senior React Engineer leading on our front-end web application architecture and constantly evolve engineering best practice.

You will be required to lead and mentor whilst always remaining up to date and expert with SPA frameworks and emerging web technology.

Evolving our isomorphic React front end architecture utilising Next Js static generation technology.

Prototyping emerging architectural concepts like micro-frontends using webcomponents.

Integrating React applications with our Sitecore CMS platform and Graph QL microservice architecture.

About you

We need somebody with the following:

• Experience of working within a DevOps environment and a good working knowledge of the associated tooling
• Proven ability to be accountable for engineering decisions within a technical environment
• Strong understanding of the development lifecycle and experience of working under Agile development methodologies
• Comfortable with peer reviews
• The ability to quickly learn and work with new tools
• Drive to continuously innovate and improve
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including status reporting
• Prior financial services experience would be advantageous, but not essential
• Technical leadership and consultancy to senior stakeholders

• Next Js / Gatsby
• Experience in Javascript, Typescript
• Webpack, Redux, Redux Sagas
• Styled Components, Css in Js (JSS)

• Openshift, Kubernetes and Docker
• Azure, AWS
