Profectus Recruitment is partnered with a dynamic and innovative SaaS company based in Bristol who are recruiting for a permanent Technical Architect to join their experienced and high-level Software Development Team.

The client has recently opened their Bristol office which holds the companies whole Software Function. One of the great things about this role is that you can work remotely for some of the week. The client is looking for their next Architect to be able to report into their Bristol offices twice a week. At the moment due to Covid-19 the teams are fully remote but plans are being put in place at the moment to get people back into the offices, safely.

The client has spent the past few years creating a range of cloud based and on-site products which are now used by hundreds of companies worldwide. This role will see you join a quality team who all have the same vision of producing high performing Software. This role we will see you working alongside the product management team where you will design and evolve their product vision. You will be given Architectural leadership and even more importantly the role will offer you the chance to take ownership of various development projects.

This role naturally requires someone with strong Technical ability. The clients core technology stack is PHP, JavaScript – mainly Vue.JS and Devops. In relation to the DevOps side, good experience with Docker and Kubernetes is required, having experience with both would be highly advantageous. In relation to the JavaScript side, Vue.Js would be a massive benefit but similar JavaScript technology experience may be considered.

Role Responsibilities;

• Guide application architecture in line with business needs
• Work with both on-shore and off-shore development teams
• Lead development and delivery of complex projects
• Work closely and efficiently with company stakeholders
• Design and evolve the product vision
• Help to plan project deliverables

Skills Required;

• Excellent track record of providing technical design, direction and architecture
• Strong understanding of software architecture for cloud and SaaS purposes
• Excellent understanding of Software Development and Architecture
• Exposure to the latest tools and technologies
