Near Lancaster

Salary £30,000 - £33,000 + benefits


Do you want to join one of the UK’s most innovative component manufacturers?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading component manufacturing business as NPI Quality Engineer at their state-of-the-art production site near Lancaster.
As NPI Quality Engineer role you will be focusing on working closely with the design team to guide them through the pre-production process and ensuring all products pass through the quality gateways in order to transition into full production. Using key quality tools you will be responsible for putting together APQP/PPAP documentation for each product and completing FMEA’s and Control Plans
This is a leading precision engineering business who supply products to a diverse range of customers in industries including medical devices, aerospace and automotive. They have invested in state of the art machinery and have further investment planned. As a result of continual growth, my client is now looking to expand the team further.
As NPI Quality Engineer you will have the opportunity to use a wide range of lean tools to take the product from design stage into full production. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of:
· Process Control Plans
· Internal auditing
· They need to have worked to ISO9001 requirements
In addition, experience of working in highly regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, aerospace or automotive will be beneficial as this business supplies products to all of the above.
You will also be part of a great design and quality function that prides itself on a great team atmosphere and collaborative working style.
