Full-time/ Long term Contract
£70-80 p/day
A creative, forward thinking primary school in Westminster are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Year 5 class to support a child with Autism. Your main aim will be to facilitate an encouraging learning environment for the pupil to thrive in, both intellectually and emotionally. Working in a classroom setting as a SEN Teaching Assistant will also provide you with the opportunity to have a positive impact on the rest of the year group.
We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who:
- Has a strong understanding of SEN, specifically in ASD
- Effectively used techniques to encourage communication
- Has hands on experience supporting classroom management
- Holds valid DBS/Police Checks
