A lovely diverse 1-form entry Primary School in Barnet are looking for a Reception Special Needs Teaching Assistant to start immediately.

• £70-80 per day, dependent on experience/qualifications.
• Full-time/long-term

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Reception you will be supporting a child who has a statement for Autism. You will be supporting the child on a one-to-one basis, helping the child academically as well as with encouragement, emotional support and in social interaction skills. In addition the school has an Autism resource unit to further help children with ASD. You will have experience supporting children with special needs. You will be joining a multicultural school who have friendly staff members and supportive parents.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:

Be proactive and use initiative
Ideally have good experience working one to one
Work well in a team
Have a positive attitude
