This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most reputable global property names on the market as a Senior Estates Manager covering Didcot and Havant.

This role is looking after five key clients (councils) and managing seven surveyors within your region, so is an ideal opportunity for an experienced MRICS Estate Manager who has a successful track record managing and developing a team within often complex and changing environments. My client’s team provides a comprehensive property and estates management service predominately to public sector clients. Covering acquisitions, disposals, valuations, rent reviews, estate management, and property review.

The role

As an MRICS Senior Estates Manager covering Didcot and Havant, you will be:

  • Leading a team of seven surveyors, harnessing the best from your teams and individuals
  • Managing land and property assets for five councils
  • Overseeing individual teams based in clients’ offices, helping to create a single effective and integrated service
  • Engaging with senior clients on estates matters
  • Representing the client on property matters with senior stakeholders
  • Leading specific work covering acquisitions, CPO’s, disposals, estates management, rent reviews and valuations
  • Attending management meetings, staff appraisals and staff development

The candidate

The successful Estates Manager will be/have:

  • MRICS Qualified
  • RICS-accredited degree
  • In-depth and extensive career history/knowledge and understanding of Estates Management
  • Proven experience managing a team of surveyors
  • Proven evidence in dealing with complex issues
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, persuading and influencing skills
  • Organised
  • A valid UK driving licence
