Front end Engineer – JavaScript, TypeScript, Circle.js, functional programming

Working for a dynamic FinTech in London, they are looking for an experienced Front end Engineer with excellent TypeScript skills to develop a new user interface to support product distribution and investments for their end users of the platform. You will have experience with building, testing, and maintaining enterprise level UI systems, ideally for financial applications (although this is not essential)

You will be expected to contribute to the current codebase and to code on new development products, where you will work closely with the other Senior Front-end engineer. Strong experience using REST APi’s is necessary as the integration between front and back ends is important for this platform. You will be passionate about testing in a TDD environment, making sure that your code meets the specifications for implementation

Coming ideally from a Computer Science background, you will have previous and recent experience in functional programming and be involved in the full lifecycle of each product , strong knowledge UX techniques and design capabilities would be beneficial.

Other points for consideration would be previously working in a .Net environment specifically with C# and F#, financial products, particularly retail investment products and platforms, CI/CD, Mongo DB and the ability to work in a fast paced agile environment.
