Civil / Infrastructure Engineer

£24,000 to £27,000, Plus 10% Bonus

A growing Civil Engineering Consultancy based in Berskhire is currently seeking 2 Civil Engineer's to join their team. Your role involves supporting senior colleagues to work with clients and stakeholders, such as local highway authorities, to help formulate appropriate technical solutions to facilitate development projects. The approach taken must be informed by a good appreciation of the issues concerning planning and development as well as a sound technical understanding of engineering design.

The particular attributes needed to undertake the role include:
 Good written and verbal communication skills in order to present outputs in a structured and balanced way, with an ability to listen and take instruction.
 Good numerical, analytical and IT skills.
 Appreciation of design delivery, including the multidisciplinary aspects of design.
 Assisting in assessment and appraisal of sites in terms of their suitability for development, identifying constraints and impacts as well as opportunities for mitigation.
 Undertaking site visits to gather information and data.
 Commissioning data from external suppliers, checking and collating for use / presentation.
 Appreciation and use of appropriate industry software.
 Analysing and interpreting data using mathematical techniques and specialist computer applications.
 Assisting the project team including, scoping, financial, programme and resource management.
