We are seeking an Engineering Manager who will be based at our offices in Swindon.

What you’ll be doing
  • Motivating the team, goal/objective setting, coaching, mentoring, training, feedback +performance management.
  • Management of resource scheduling and management and work progress reporting.
  • Creating and maintaining a collaborative environment which is mindful of Agile methods.
  • Line managing a team, especially interested in the core skills needed for helping a team of engineers reach their potential and deliver successful projects.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for continuous service improvements,including automation, removing blockers, ways of working and ensuring value for money.

 

About you

We’d like to meet an Engineering Manager with –

  • Extensive experience of managing teams effectively Career management of a team, setting objectives, career progression and training
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in Agile, planning and resource management Matrix management environment experience
  • A strong technical IT development background
  • Proven analysis and problem-solving experience
  • Knowledge of the internet development and mobile apps

It would also be good if you had knowledge or experience of one or more of the following:

  • .NET Framework, C#, asp.net
  • Native Mobile Development Web Design
