Mandarin Speaking Bookkeeper – Failsworth – up to £26k

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced team the company will provide in-house training to support your new role. You will join a professional and highly respected team where hard work and commitment are rewarded.

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintaining Sales/Purchase ledger
  • Taking accounts up to trial balance
  • Communicating effectively with HMRC
  • Responding professionally and promptly to client queries
  • Willingness to travel to clients’ premises
  • Willingness to undertake bookkeeping tasks at clients’ premises

Qualifications:

  • Ideally AAT qualified
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role

You will be expected to demonstrate:

A working knowledge of English and Mandarin

A good knowledge of VAT and the ability to apply VAT rules and regulation

Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Knowledge of Xero would be advantageous

Working week:

Full time (working from home the first 6 months)

Salary:

£22,000 to £26,000 dependent on experience
