Teaching Assistant / TA required for 1-2-1 role at SEND School in Newcastle  

A Special Needs School for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH difficulties are looking for a Teaching Assistant / TA to work 1-2-1 with a male student.

The role requires someone who is resilient in character but also experienced in supporting children with special needs.  

The post will involve some outreach work so someone who drives is essential. You will be expected to travel between different sites within the foundation.  

The post is full time and has the potential to go permanent for the right Teaching Assistant / TA.

To be part of this team you will ideally need to have:

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a special needs school
• Previous special needs experience, preferably Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH
• A resilient character
• The ability to adapt to challenging situations
• Someone who holds a driving license
