Job Title: Learning Support Practitioner
 
Location: Lewisham

Hourly rate: £12.00 p/h + Holiday Pay

Type: Temporary Contract (until 18th December 2020)
Dates and hours per day / week to be discussed in more detail with your recruiter
 
Essential Criteria:
  • Experience of supporting and motivating High Needs learners (Learning difficulties/Learning disabilities) aged 16-25.
Duties include:
  • Work closely with students who present learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities, ensuring they are offered high quality and appropriately targeted in-classroom support.
  • To ensure that all learners are achieving their targets and outcomes in a timely manner, as outlined in their EHCP's (Education, Health and Care Plan).
  • Supporting learners who are working towards qualifications across a range of vocational areas, including: Catering, Performing Arts, Retail and Horticulture.
  • Encourage students to help raise their confidence, self-esteem and independence.
  • Assist students as they integrate within the learning environment and community.

  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
