ROLE: Senior Business Development Manager – Signage

LOCATION: West Yorkshire 

SALARY: £45K-£50K + car + commission



My client are a leading provider within the Signage industry working with some of the most well known brands in the world. They are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate must have Managerial experience as this role will incorporate managing a small team, delivering on a team target as well as an individual New Business target. This client is not necessarily looking for someone from a Signage / Print background, but need a highly competent Sales Manager / New Business Development leader that is willing to learn the industry and have a previous proven track record within a similar role.


Package:

• Up to £50K basic salary dependant on experience
• Commission on individual sales

• Commission on team performance 
• Company car/ fuel allowance
• Company Pension

The successful Senior Business Development Manager will possess:

• A proven track record within a New Business Development role, having produced impressive new business figures

•  Experience coaching, mentoring and managing a small team of New Business sales people, with a history of turning round sales performances.
• Proven background of working towards sales targets and KPIs
• Ability to sell consultatively to a variety of clients
• Ability to open doors and maintain the New Business won.

The role as a Business Development Manager:

• Reinvigorate lapsed accounts and bring back up to major client status while always hunting new business opportunities
• Highlight key areas of growth and target new clients to continue to grow account base
• Sell the portfolio of Signage solutions into prospective new and existing clients.
• Manage the projects after winning the sale - liaising with the Client and Production team to ensure briefs are met
• Work in a consultative manner, advising the best print solutions for clients
• Provide after-sales care, helping to encourage repeat business

• Managing, developing and mentoring a team of more Junior Business Development Managers
