The team here at Driver Hire Barnsley are currently looking for  HGV 7.5 Tonne drivers to work with one  our well established clients. a well-established furniture retailer/distributor based in in Barnsley, who are immediately available for work.

Duties:

• Safe loading and unloading of products, adhering to company's Health & Safety procedures
• Ensure sufficient security of load to the vehicle before and during transit
• Complying with driving legislation
• Maintain a quality driven service at all times
• Complying with Company Policies and Procedures

Applicants are required to have:

• Full UK Driving Licence with Category C1 entitlement 
• Digital Tachograph
• Driver CPC Card
• Excellent customer service skills
• Manual Handling involved.

Assignment Details:

• £9.00 per hour, PAYE (other pay models are available)
• Primarily working Monday - Friday days week 1/ Tues-Sat days week 2 rotational over a two week period
• Delivering across Yorkshire and the neighbouring counties

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity where you would work for us for the first 12 weeks and then transfer to the company as their permanent employee at the end of the 12 week period. Starting salary would be £24,400 plus overtime.
