Major Projects Supervisor needed in Rotheram £34.11ph PAYE - Reference: RQ404372

This is working full time hours on a temporary contract basis

For the right candidate it is anticipated that this position will be for the full duration of the ‘Parkway Widening’ scheme, i.e. in the region of 21 months

Ideal Qualifications: Diploma/NVQ/Degree civil engineering Project Management eg. APM PMQ or PPQ , Prince2 Practitioner NEC3

Professional Accreditation Memberships: Membership of ICE, IHE, CIHT, TPS (desirable) 1. Major Schemes - Supervisor (Parkway Widening).

The post holder will act as NEC Engineering and Construction Contract Supervisor for a highway scheme valued at £40m that includes new and amended pavements, highway structures, earthworks, drainage, lighting and street furniture. The postholder will have ideally have extensive experience of major highway site works in the role of Supervisor and experience of the above conditions of contract including risk management, quality, safety and contract administration in order to assist the scheme’s Project Manager. The post may involve supervising other staff that form the site supervision team and will involve liaison with officers, outside bodies and stakeholders. The Parkway widening scheme is a design and build contract. Membership of Association of Project Management or Project Management Institute
