Job Title: Facilities Management Assessor

Location: Remote – with travel as required
 
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Assessor to be home based and be responsible for the training, assessment and support of a caseload of learners undertaking Apprenticeships in Facilities Management Levels 2 – 4 New Apprenticeships Standards.

Duties:

  • Assess and support learners through full Apprenticeship Standards in Facility Services Level 2 and 3, and Facilities Management to Level 4.
  • Provide additional support for the delivery of Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) up to level 2.
  • Plan and deliver quality training sessions via remote online platforms.
  • Conduct regular reviews with learners to track progress and ensure timely completions.
  • Organise and maintain learners’ documentation.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners, through to end point assessment.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33).
  • Hold or working towards a recognised Teaching qualification: AET / PTLLS or equivalent.
  • Experience of delivering Apprenticeships, ideally within Facilities Management.
  • IWFM (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management) - Qualified at Level 4 or above, with strong occupational competency in Facilities Management.
  • Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Must be flexible with travel and overnight stays where required.

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learner.
