Quality Manager – Process Sector

£40k - £45k per annum + 25 days holiday + Pension

Based in North Derbyshire

Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a track record in delivering excellence for a fast-paced manufacturer? This opportunity will provide an experienced Quality Manager with the chance to work in a challenging environment and drive through a wide range of changes that will help improve the level of quality product delivered to their client.

The Quality Manager’s role will be as follows:

• Implementation of the current QMS system and identifying areas for improvement
• Leadership & Management of a team to help improve the overall quality of the product
• Overseeing all the of the quality systems and documentation
• Ensure that if any quality issues come up, corrective actions are put in place using traditional quality processes such as 8D and 5 WHYs
• Recruitment, 1-2-1, training, developing, mentoring, coaching and guiding of your team
• Control budgets related to engineering, labour and general operations

The ideal Quality Manager will have a combination of the following:

• You will be experienced as a Quality Manager from the Manufacturing Sector – Aerospace, Automotive, Process, Chemical, Plastics
• The ideal Quality Manager will have worked within a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate a proven track record in Quality management with experience in 8D, 5 Why’s
• Experience of improving processes and corrective actions which have resulted in reduced waste
• Possess excellent leadership and communication skills
• A suitable engineering qualification will be highly advantageous
