An opportunity has arisen for an Estate Agent Sales Negotiator to join a growing sales and lettings Estate Agency covering Portsmouth and the surrounding areas. Working closely with the well-established Lettings Team, my client is looking for an ambitious Sales Negotiator to help grow the successful and expanding sales team, with some support of the lettings team to be expected.

The successful Estate Agent Sales Negotiator will have at least 12 months industry experience in either lettings or sales. You will need to be a strong and attentive communicator with a real interest in property and the housing market. You will need to be well presented with excellent diary and time management skills.

The Estate Agent Sales Negotiator will ideally have had similar experience in an agency context and will have a strong understanding of the sales process from initial viewing to sales completion. Ideally, you will have lived in and around Portsmouth for a few years to have developed a good understanding of the surrounding areas.

Within this role the Sales Negotiator will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from matching properties to buyers, coordinating viewings, attending and following up viewings, negotiating sales, overseeing sales through to completion, and assisting with preparing marketing materials such as photography and property descriptions. There will be a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with both vendors and purchaser, ensuring to generating market appraisals wherever possible to make the most of opportunities for both sales and lettings.

Estate Agent Sales Negotiator – Experience Needed

  • Previous Estate Agency Sales or Lettings Negotiator experience is essential.
  • You will have strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
  • You will have solid IT skills and experience of using Estate Agency CRM systems
  • Negotiation skills and a natural sales ability is key
  • You will be well spoken and well presented
  • You will be target driven and ambitious
  • You will have excellent organisation and time management skills
  • You must have your own car
