Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor 

Location: Dorset - Must be flexible with travel

Salary/Package: £25,500 - £29,000 plus bonus (Depending on level you deliver + Excellent Benefits Package, Pension, Mileage + more!

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria for all candidates:

• Hold solid occupational experience of working within Health and Social Care / Elderly Care at Senior/Supervisory or Management level. (we have a variety of roles available assessing  levels 2 & 3, and level 5 dependent on candidates competency)
• Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
• Flexibility is required with working hours and travel, as and when required to meet learners needs.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.

Duties include:

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care Levels 2, 3 and/or 5 (depending on the level you deliver/competent to assess).
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
• Delivering completely online due to Covid-19 with a view to returning to online and visiting/observing learners in their place of work, once restrictions are lifted, to gather evidence towards their QCF Diploma.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely assessments / visits (when allowed), quality paperwork and general administration.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales.
