Learning Support Assistant needed for Autism School in Gateshead
A special needs school based in Gateshead is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start after the Christmas break. The school caters to secondary aged students who are on the Autism spectrum.
The children have complex needs so the school require someone who is experienced in supporting children with ASD. Previous experience in a special needs school is essential.
The post will commence after the Christmas break is full time.
To be part of this team you will ideally need to have:
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience in a school
- ASD experience
- Experience supporting secondary aged students
- Previous experience of working in a special needs school
