A large secondary school with an excellent reputation in Gateshead is seeking to appoint an English and Drama Teacher to start as soon as possible working full time.

The post is a full time position and is for a long term contract with the potential to go permanent.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge to teach English Language, English Literature and Drama across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The successful candidate will be a hard working individual who can consistently display professionalism, flexibility and a high level of energy for the role.

Applicants need to have:

• QTS with an English and Drama specialism
• Experience teaching English and Drama up to KS5 / Key Stage 5
• Good classroom management
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
