Job Description:

Incident Lead required - 3 month + contract - London based with remote working

Working for a high-profile Government Health organisation, we are looking for a number of Incident Leads with experience to work with the Incident Directors and Team Leads to map, design, establish and maintain effective stakeholder engagement for a Covid-19 programme.

You will require experience and understanding in identifying and managing an array of stakeholder relationships, with the confidence to influence senior leaders, the ability to work at pace, think strategically and creatively, and to deal with complex information.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the Incident Directors and Team Leads to map, design, establish and maintain effective stakeholder engagement for the Covid-19 programme, and build an effective approach to managing relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality briefing and advice to Senior leaders and Ministers on stakeholder engagement issues to ensure the Department's agenda is pushed across Government and decisions are made in a timely and effective way;
  • Leading the team to understand and assess emerging incidents at pace, identify and delivery next steps and need for escalation;
  • Work with other teams across the department to support their engagement with stakeholders
  • Work with Private Office to understand the needs and views of Ministers and ensure they are aware of the forward look of advice;
  • Lead engagement exercises, roundtable discussions, workshops and other engagement with a wide audience, including senior officials, ministers and OGDs
  • Build, maintain and improve relationships across the programme, stakeholders and wider government For these roles you need to have the following experience:
  • Project management skills / Policy management / Case management
  • Collaborate and engage teams and deliver shared vision
  • Significant planning and project management
  • Building effective relationships
  • Manage multiple policy areas
  • Communicate complex issues to senior stakeholders/ministers etc.

You will also need to be able to work a shift rota pattern (4 days on and 2 days off - 9am-5pm an early shift 7am - 3pm and late shift 2pm to 10pm.

This role is to start ASAP and will pay between £275 - £325 per day (umbrella - inside of IR35) depending on your level of experience.
