KS2 SEN Teacher – North London – Jan 2021 Start!

£160 - 200 p/day

A SEN School in Haringey are searching for a SEN Teacher to lead their KS2 Cohort. This “Good” School provides specialist support for pupils with Multi-Sensory Impairments. This is inclusive of Sight and Hearing Difficulties, and Speech Language and Communication difficulties.

Here you will adopt a creative approach to effectively engage pupils and lead them through a differentiated curriculum. With a team of 3 Support Staff, you will work collaboratively to champion best practices, develop new strategies and provide tailored support to the class.

Job Description - SEN Teacher

  • Confident SEN Teachers who are experienced in supporting Hearing and Sight Impairments, ASD, PMLD and Speech and Language Needs.
  • Qualifications and experience using methods such as Braille, BSL, Makaton, etc.
  • Experience in implementing a forward-thinking, creative and differentiated curriculum.  
  • Long term initially
  • Competitive day rate

Person Specification - SEN Teacher

  • Must hold UK QTS
  • Qualification in Braille, BSL or other relevant discipline would be ideal!
  • Confidently develops pupils with Sensory approach  
  • Experience managing team of support staff.
