SEN Teacher – West London – Jan 2021 Start!

£160 - 200 p/day

A SEN School in Ealing are looking for a SEN Teacher to join their forward thinking team. This “Outstanding” Special School therapeutically supports pupils with varying degrees of Autism. Associated needs will include ADHD, Down Syndrome, Asperger’s and Speech and Language difficulties.

Here you will promote independence and encourage positive intellectual behaviour. With the Support of 2 teaching assistants, you will lead a Complex Cohort across a variety of subjects.

Job Description - SEN Teacher

  • Confident SEN Teachers who are experienced in supporting Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD and Speech and Language Needs .
  • Vast background in teaching a Complex Cohort and actively encouraging child development
  • Experience creating and implementing a forward-thinking, differentiated curriculum.

Person Specification - SEN Teacher

  • Thorough experience supporting pupils with diverse, differentiated curriculum
  • Must hold UK QTS and have thorough experience developing ASD pupils who have secondary learning difficulties
  • Confidently develops low-ability ASD pupils
  • Ability to engage non-verbal pupils working with P-levels or EYFS
  • Experience managing team of support staff.
