An excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Maintenance Manager to join this thriving independent lettings business.

This reputable agency has an established lettings business and is looking for a Property Maintenance Manager who can work alongside a dedicated property management team to oversee a portfolio of managed residential properties.

Specifically looking after the maintenance aspects of property management, the Property Maintenance Manager’s responsibilities will include co-ordinating contractors and maintenance works, liaising with landlords and tenants, safety checks, and dealing with deposit settling negotiations post-checkout.

As a Property Maintenance Manager, you will be confident managing works across a portfolio of circa 400 properties and will need to genuinely thrive on the fast paced nature of managing multiple projects across various stages. You’ll be a natural and diplomatic negotiator, able to build rapport and influence with contractors and tenants alike, navigating sometimes challenging situations and ironing out differences to find mutually beneficial solutions.

The successful Property Manager will be experienced within Property Management, with a customer focussed approach to client management. You must be presentable, a good communicator, willing to learn and able to use your own initiative. You must have a good understanding of lettings legislation and have the ability to deal with high pressure situations.

Ideally you will already be ARLA qualified or working towards this, however for the right candidate with appropriate Property Management experience my client may be willing to offer support to gain these qualifications.

• Previous Property Management experience with an agency or property management company is essential
• You will be a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills
• You will have solid IT skills and be technology savvy
• Ideally you will ideally be ARLA qualified or working towards this
• Excellent organisation skills and punctuality are paramount
