Exchequer Support Officer

Based in Chorley paying £8.56ph PAYE

This is a full time temporary contract.

Our client is looking for an Exchequer Support Officer.

To work within a busy accounts payable team, the successful applicant will support Shared Financial Services by assisting to deliver a range of services relating to the procure to pay process, in particular those relating to the payment of Covid related grants

As well as understanding accounts payable processes a good working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office suite is essential, as is the ability to accurately record information.

They must have confidence to deal with invoice related issues from both council managers and suppliers by telephone and email communication.
