Based in a busy Electrical Test department and alongside the Production department, you will be responsible for a number of tasks ensuring the highest quality standards are met

Job role / duties

•Test and Inspection of Low Voltage Distribution Equipment
•Working to Quality and Safety procedures
•Ensure equipment meets current safety standards.
•Daily liaison with the Production & Quality Managers and the Projects Team to ensure work is completed to schedule
•Complete relevant documentation and ensure records are kept accurately and completed on time.
•Plan & complete work schedules with colleagues
•Ensure completed builds are with the Despatch team in line with schedules

To be considered you MUST:

•Have City & Guilds Qualification in an Electrical discipline
•Be experienced in Electrical Test and Inspection.
•Possess BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition Preferable)
•Have grade C or 4 and above including Maths and English.
•Have worked in a Production/Manufacturing environment and have an understanding of BS EN 61439/BS 7909.
•Be experienced with MS Office
•Have a passion for learning & taking on additional tasks
•Be a strong team player, proactive and have proven ability to show initiative and attention to detail
