Profectus Recruitment is working with a Software company based in Bristol who is recruiting for a Lead Developer on a contract basis. This role is a 5-month contract position and offers remote working.

As the Lead Developer you will be required to take lead of an existing project that has a strict deadline for next year. You will be responsible for leading, managing and guiding a team of 4 experienced developers in order to deliver this project.

Alongside coding you will also play the role of Project Manager, to ensure the delivery and deployment is successful. The role is a 50/50 split of management and coding. The coding is Microsoft based so extensive experience with Microsoft .NET is required. The client is looking for someone with demonstrable leadership, hands on development and management experience. In addition to the .NET experience the client is specifically looking for someone with Azure deployment experience and Devops also.

Role Responsibilities;

• Lead a team of 4 experienced developers
• Code to a high level, 50/50 split shared between coding and management
• Work alongside the IT manager to execute the development roadmap
• Provide regular feedback to the board
• Lead on technical issues
