Finishing Operator – Night Shift

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6pm-6am

Location: Essex

Salary: £22K-£26K + Overtime

Company: A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels manufacturer.

Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a finishing operative / machine operator to join a leading Labels organisation in the Essex area. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following skills / machinery - Omega SRI, Daco PLD350, Ashe Opal, Digicon Lite – slitting, rewinding but also die cutting, waste stripping, varnishing and laminating.

• Operating finishing machine to convert materials to finished goods.
• Ability to read and follow work order specifications.
• Setup and operation of rewind machines.
• Good eye for detail required to inspect quality of labels and produce jobs to the instructions provided.
• Strong IT skills required to operate using management information system.
• Ad hoc tasks: packing and other finishing tasks.
• Job may also require assisting in other areas of production.
