Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Role – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias- (Permanent Nights)

Salary - £37500 to 41000 (rising)

Overtime rate – 1.5 and 2.0

Hours – Sunday to Thursday – 10pm-6am

Holidays – 25 plus bank holidays

Location: York

If you have a proven track record in a multi-skilled maintenance role, and have worked on conveyor systems, packaging machines, sortation or any other machinery typically found in a FMCG environment, I am very keen to speak with you.

The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer must have:

• Time served with a recognised level 3 qualification; apprentice trained
• Experience of maintaining machinery in factory based FMCG/food environment – ovens, conveyors, packaging, filling lines, metal detectors
• Able to fault find both electrically and mechanically
• Mechanically you will work on - Gearboxes, conveyors, motors, Strip down and rebuild kit, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Electrically you will work on - 3 phase panels, invertors, drives, repair production machinery and read drawings
• Fault finding on Siemens and Allen Bradley

The role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer is:

To work autonomously from day 1 and able to pick up the company’s machinery and process from straightaway. Their production runs 24/7 so reactive maintenance needs to keep the production running aswel as carrying out weekly PPM’s.
