Hospital ward Housekeepers needed in Stoke-on-trent with ideally standard dbs already in place ref 112229

Working full time hours on a temporary basis.

The purpose of the job will be to ensure an effective and efficient ward housekeeping service is delivered within the ward area for which the job holder has responsibility.  The main element of the role is to ensure a seamless approach to the provision of hotel services through direct responsibility for certain patient care tasks, liaison with other departments or through the supervisions of the cleaning assistants and Ward Host/ess.  They are also to ensure an efficient and patient focused lunch and evening meal service is delivered within the ward areas for which the job role holder has responsibility.  They will ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards within the ward environment are monitored and maintained at all times.

Shift pattern is weekday hours between 8.00 - 20.00, hours range from 5.5 to 11 hours per day but also shifts can occur over a Saturday and Sunday
