The company
I am recruiting for an electrical bias maintenance engineer to join one of the UK’s biggest manufactures within their field. They have several sites throughout the UK and have a turnover of £400 million. Each site is purpose built for their specific manufacturing process and they have cutting edge technology along with state of the art machinery. The company has grown by over £100 million over the last 3 years and now they have an opportunity for an electrical maintenance engineer to join their team.
The role
Th role lead electrical maintenance engineer will be to keep breakdowns and downtime to a minimum while improving machine efficiency. You will be working with LEAN and continuous improvement plans. This is an autonomous role where you will be both hands on and hands off.
- Managing PPM’s
- Organising manpower on site
- Training of new employees
- Electrical fault finding
- Root cause analysis
- PLC fault finding
The candidate
To be considered for the role of lead electrical maintenance engineer then you must be experienced in this position or be driven to make the next step in your career. The site uses Siemens S7 so experience of an automated environment is needed.
- NVQ level 3 minimum qualification
- Worked within an automated environment
- PLC Experience
