Job Title:             SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT

Key Stages:         KS 3 - 4

Location:            Preston, Lancashire 

Vida Education are looking to recruit a teaching assistant who has previous SEN experience, specifically working with children with Autism. The role is subject to the re opening of schools, currently expected after the February Half term break, will be 5 days a week until the end of this academic year. You will be working in an excellent Preston Secondary school from February 2021. 

Working with a specific pupil in a classroom setting and on a one to one basis if required. You will be there to support the childs learning and development. 

At present, the school expect all year groups to return from February half term. If the government forced closures extends then the role may be delayed slightly.

The role will run till July 2021

In order to be considered for this post, you will need to:

• Hold a minimum of a level 3 TA qualifications, ideally with SEN experience 

• Have a good knowledge of the current National Curriculum

• Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour and always strive to get the best out of your students.
