Skills House Project Manager needed in Bradford paying £18.03 per day PAYE Ref: 5152650

This is working full time hours on a temporary basis

The core purpose of this role is to project manage the Skills House Development Plan to ensure successful implementation.

To provide highly skilled and adaptable project management expertise for undertaking the provision of programme management and significantly contribute to the successful implementation of major Transformational Change Programmes that align to the ambition of the Skills House Development plans.

The role is responsible for project managing, leading and delivering the SkillsHouse Business Development Plan, identifying and implementing sustainable solutions. 

Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will analyse and review the design of SkillsHouse business development planning, keeping senior leaders and stakeholders, and in particular education, learning/talent and workforce professionals informed and engaged.  Fundamentally, the role is critical in delivering a programme of change aligned with the District’s Workforce Development Plan providing programme management expertise, challenge and support to the work stream Board governing Plan delivery, including organisational culture change, to enable and ensure the Partnership and stakeholders deliver the ambitions set out by the People Skills Prosperity.  This will entail creating a detailed future oriented delivery plan and enabling the achievement of all goals.

Develop a sound project management plan aligned to evidence and outcomes ensuring that SkillsHouse can track cost/benefit and return on investment.  Develop and manage the partnership and project budgets

As required, lead and participate in events, meetings and networks to share and develop practice and thinking relating to objectives of the Partnership

The ideal candidate:

A proven track record of successful project management programme design and delivery experience within a large organisation of significant scope and complexity, including motivating teams and partnerships, establishing positive performance culture, driving innovation and business growth, and delivering continuous service improvement.
