Credit Controller

Expired

Job Description:

Your current workday routine is the same and has been since March 2020. Up at 7, ready within an hour, coffee, breakfast and keeping an eye on the news. Nothing has changed in nearly a year. You miss the gathering around the water cooler and the office banter. You miss genuinely speaking to people and having that social interaction.

As a credit controller, you are expected to be speaking to clients on their level, asking how their recent holiday has been or asking if the client’s kids are fed up with home schooling.

The reality is completely different.

Instead, you are firing off email after email, countless times, and often feeling like you’re not hearing back from your clients. It’s time for a change.

A change which sees you working as a credit controller for a FTSE 100 company, who are award winning and looking to grow their team to over 30. Somewhere you can get the interaction you crave, from speaking to clients all day, as well as constant communication with your team. In an extremely busy environment where you will be dealing with around 1000 live accounts with a £56 million ledger.

In return for your hard work, home working will be an option until it is safe to go into the office and company bonus schemes will be available to you.

Does this sound like a role for you? It is important for you to have the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit control
  • Experience of setting up supplier accounts
  • Being able to handle large volumes of calls
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong, working knowledge of Excel including Pivot Tables and Vlookups
  • Being able to handle complex accounts
  • Outside the box thinking and problem solving
