THE JOB TITLE: Managing Director

THE PRODUCT: Automotive Products

THE SALARY PACKAGE: c£60,000 Basic + Bonus + Benefits

THE LOCATION: Norwich

 

THE COMPANY:

A nationwide supplier that offers high quality automotive products are growing and with a new expansion plan in place, are now looking employ the right managing director who savours a challenge on pushing the business to the next level.

 

THE ROLE OF A MANAGING DIRECTOR:

 

As the managing director you will ultimately be responsible for the entire business operation within the UK with a view to taking the existing business and growing it for the future.

The buck stops with you and with full P&L responsibility, you will look to create and implement a strategy that will employ all current revenue streams to look at organic growth and commercial activity within a highly competitive UK marketplace.

Alongside this will be the actual running of the business operation and its finances which you will have complete control over to look at efficiencies and areas of improvement.

Within any role at this level, the culture and fit of the individual as managing director is vital. This is an organisation that is a friendly, democratic yet non-corporate atmosphere where there are no politics! As Managing Director, you will ultimately have to make tough and final decisions however autocratic leaders need not apply!

This is a business that isn’t broken but is transitioning with changes in the market place and wanting to put in place a winning formula for the future. As such a forward thinking individual is required to move, adapt and implement the changes that are required yet not afraid to get stuck in themselves.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

This organisation are looking for the right person, not necessarily the most direct fit in terms of background experience. This means that you could have come from a variety of different backgrounds as long as you have the will and the character to set out what you’re going to achieve, and achieve it, this is the right role for you.
