Global P2P Compliance Senior Analyst

 

As we expand our Purchase to Pay footprint, we establish a P2P Global Senior Analyst role to drive global adherence to P2P Sox and operational controls, company procedures and external legislation with the intent of improving controls consistency and effectively support P2P company  compliance across our transformation journey namely S2P and TPRM.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain subject matter expertise on company policies and procedures associated with P2P as well as relevant activities related to Treasury and financial operations
  • Oversight of Global P2P Compliance and responsibly for the successful execution of SOX and operational compliance procedures
  • Actively oversee compliance monitoring in P2P
  • Partner with P2P managers, P2P senior management and business partners on the identification and execution of compliance improvement initiatives
  • Cultivate a compliance culture across multiple P2P sites and provide training and forum for conversations
  • Maintaining P2P Key control matrices across multiple P2P GBS sites and ensure best practices are adopted with a consistent approach
  • Maintaining our Global Compliance Dashboard and proactively propose compliance improvements to P2P Leadership Team
  • Managing all aspects of Audit Co-ordination both internal and external parties across the Globe
  • Assess each process implementation and P2P project at compliance level
  • Owns and co-ordinates updating all Controls and P2P Documentation
  • Liaises with FCO and CAS on S2P impact on controls and procedures
  • Manages the GBS side of ARIBA, which will be audited in 2021
  • Manages Protect company Program in P2P, RIM Program, and co-ordination of P2P Sox and Compliance coordinators
  • Compliance P2P Subject matter expert
  • Collaboration with the P2P Global Process Owner, FCO and teams across P2P team to develop the appropriate compliance refresher training and campaigns
  • Have a good understanding of P2P processes and company policies and procedures
  • Provide periodic analysis to P2P leadership on trending/ repeat issues etc. to eliminate occurrence.
  • Serve as internal Privacy Steward for P2P operations to proactively assure that Privacy is emphasized, including vendors activities

  • Influence global and local leadership in the formulation of policies and procedures that directly or indirectly impact P2P operations and influence internal and external parties to implement recommended changes
  • Support the realization of the Global Business Solutions vision and P2P strategy
  • Ability to influence and gain credibility with stakeholders
  • Facilitates alignment, resolves conflict and overcomes resistance
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners
  • Ensure proper compliance steps and controls are built into P2P processes
  • Schedule walkthroughs of process flowcharts, SOPs, job aids, policies, procedures and communications to ensure they are up to date
  • Monitor and audit processes to ensure compliance reporting controls are in place and effective. Adapt processes, SOPs and job aids to accurately reflect and comply with all changes in processes
  • Conduct compliance self-assessments of P2P operations, including privacy
  • Introduce continuous monitoring steps that help us effectively detect and correct inaccurate or incomplete compliance data
  • Participate in / sponsor process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and network with other functions to integrate compliance changes into P2P processing
  • Network with tax to integrate new tax regulation and reporting requirements into our P2P processes
  • Liase with Compliance and Ethics to maintain awareness of changing business needs
  • Liase with IT to ensure successful implementation of necessary changes to the tools to enable accurate processing and reporting
  • Familiarize with all applicable legislation to ensure that all internal policies and procedures follow the relevant legislation
  • Assist with the investigation and management of potential instances of non-compliance with company and external legislative policies & procedures
  • Ensure robust reporting on the progress and resolution of compliance issues, including escalation to Compliance Officer/Senior Management/internal or external regulatory bodies as appropriate.

 

     Requirements:

 

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7of industry related experience in Finance, Compliance, or Financial Controls Auditing
  • Chartered accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or other equivalent qualification)
  • Proven strong compliance-oriented mindset & help to build a strong compliance culture along with the relevant training materials & tools
  • Experience in MS Office
  • Experience working in a global finance organization
  • Strong work ethic
  • High level of self-motivation, leadership, positive attitude
  • Proven Problem-Solving Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work across cultures and across diverse management styles
