An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lettings Negotiator with at least 2 years experience in a lettings to join this thriving property firm with a well established portfolio based in Swindon and the surrounding areas. 

The successful Senior Lettings Negotiator will be experienced with valuations, viewings and negotiations, and will have a strong understanding of current lettings processes and legislative requirements and will be comfortable taking ownership for the fully lettings cycle up to the point of move in, supported by the teams inhouse property managers and inventory clerks.

You must be presentable, a good communicator, enthusiastic and reliable. you will also be service focussed with strong relationship building skills and an ability to use your own initiative.

You must have a good understanding of Swindon lettings market and be comfortable discussing terms of business and service levels with potential clients with a view to retaining existing clients as well as winning new business to grow the portfolio.

This role will include all aspects of Lettings negotiation including building relationships by liaising with potential landlords and tenants. You will be pro-active in self-promotion and marketing and provide excellent customer service. The aim is to create a referral business and maintain clients-for-life business.

While there are other valuers within the existing team who can cover this initially while getting settled, the expectation is that you will take on the majority of lettings valuations to take full ownership for the lettings cycle.

• 2 years previous lettings experience
• Experience of carrying out valuations and winning new clients
• You will be a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills
• You will have solid IT skills and be technology savvy
• Negotiation skills are key and you will be well-spoken and well-presented
• You will be target driven and ambitious
• You will have a strong understanding of lettings processes, legislation and procedures
• Excellent organisation skills and punctuality are paramount
