The Company
My client is a FMCG company that has several sites in the UK and due to continued growth and investment now has a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join their team. They have been manufacturing their products for over 100 years and they have invested heavily in their factories during this time and are now market leaders in their field. They have recently taken over a competitor and have increased production to keep up with demand. They have continued to work during the pandemic and have all relevant safety measures in place.
The role
The role of a maintenance engineer will be to perform planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of different machinery. Production runs 24/7 on this site there will be a good mix of both planned and reactive. You will be working on old and new machinery so a good mix of electrical and mechanical skills are needed. You will be working as part of a nights based maintenance team performing root cause analysis and continuous improvements. There is good team ethic with the nights engineers so its good environment to work in.
