Our client is planning to create a new reservoir in Hampshire to secure reliable drinking water for years to come. The reservoir will be built on a grassland site next to Havant Thicket, which sits between Rowlands Castle, Leigh Park and Staunton Country Park in Havant. As well as providing reliable supplies for the water-stressed South East, it would also create a new green, leisure facility for local communities. It will be the first new reservoir to be built in the South East since the 1970s. This is the largest project ever undertaken by Portsmouth Water and will cost around £130 Million.

This is a high profile project so the successful applicant will need to develop an effective communication strategy and lead its delivery as this will be key to keeping all the stakeholders engaged and on-board. The role will suit an individual who has a proven track record in communications and an ability to communicate effective messages via multiple channels and audiences. Good attention to detail, highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills are a given for any applicant applying for this role along with an ability to work at all times in line with our clients values of Excellence, Respect and Integrity.
This will be a highly demanding role reporting direct to the Project Director. The role will also provide support when required to the wider business.
