Our client provides flow control solutions to the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas industry and are renowned for their highly engineered pump and valve brands.

This is an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician / Service Technician to join their team of maintenance experts on a refinery and chemicals manufacturing facility. This field-based role will involve both routine and reactive maintenance of rotating machinery.

Candidates must have demonstrable experience of maintaining rotating equipment. The job will involve the removal, dismantling, inspection, repair, rebuilding and installation of pumps, gearboxes and mixers. Candidates must be able to follow technical method statements and have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to a high degree of accuracy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of rotating equipment repairs. This can include completing strip down reports, assembly re-build records and test requirements to meet daily, weekly or monthly work schedules. You will measure and record all dimensions / tolerances / clearances as required.

It is essential to carry out all duties in full compliance with the client and customer's HSEQ procedures. As such candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of working safely, i.e. working to safe working practices. Candidates should have a CCNSG safety passport.
