Job Title: Learner Recruitment Consultant / Employer Engagement

Location: Home based - Online and Telephone based

Salary: £19,000 - £24,500 (depending on experience)

Type: Full Time, 6-month FTC

Duties Include:

• Carry out learner engagement activities on a national basis, liaising with referral agencies such as the Job Centre, to attract and recruit unemployed learners to various Traineeship programmes.
• Engage with local employers, networks and referral agencies to secure, advertise and source work placement opportunities for a caseload of learners.
• Maintain relationships with local employers to secure further opportunities for learners.
• Ensure candidate suitability and eligibility for the programme through initial screening and interviews, carrying out a full diagnostic assessment.
• Identify any barriers to employment / learning, and provide support and direction for learners to overcome these barriers and achieve their goals.
• Support and mentor learners throughout their programme, providing IAG and addressing additional needs.
• Ensure learners are working in a safe environment - completing all relevant paperwork such as Health & Safety documentation
• Completing company documentation ensuring that all documents meet compliance standards.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have experience of carrying out employer engagement / recruitment activities to secure work placements for learners.
• Ideally have experience of working with referral agencies such as the jobcentre.
• Experience of providing information, advice and guidance for candidates to make informed decisions about their future aspirations.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Understanding and knowledge of the work based learning industry.
• Experience of working towards and achieving targets.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Full clean driving licence and use of own vehicle
