My client is a Global Leading Software Company who have just started their first UK based Technical Support team in Bracknell, Berkshire to cover their EMEA customer region.

This is an exciting opportunity not just to join a global software vendor but to be part of their UK adventure as you will be an important part of shaping their UK culture and Technical Support Team.

Position Overview

This position will see you join my clients UK based Technical Support team. You will be fully trained in their market leading product, but will be facing different technical challenges on a daily basis on Infrastructure based technology.

This is very technical stimulating position as you will be focussed on complex troubleshooting and providing a world-class service to their customers remotely across the EMEA region.

My client wants Engineers who are passionate about troubleshooting and get a kick out of solving complex issues and are keen to expand upon their technical and softer support skills. They also want to find Engineers who are collaborative, agile and love to be challenged!

You will not only be a Support Specialist for customers, but also my client’s partners and re-sellers.

Required Skills

  • Experience working in a Technical Support or Systems Administrator position.
  • Can show extraordinary Customer Care skills where you go above and beyond to fix their technical issues
  • Has the ability to think quickly on your feet, whilst able to manage busy work loads
  • Has a desire to be challenged in what you do and is keen to knowledge share and help build your own/the team’s skills further.
  • Experience working with a Print Management product such as either PaperCut, Equitrac, Safecom, Safeq, Pcounter, Pahros or Ringdale software
  • Experience working on multiple platforms such as Windows, Linux or Mac OSX
  • A good understanding of Networking and OS commands/protocols
  • Experience working with Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
  • Exposure or Experience working with SQL or Powershell would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience or exposure to working with PowerShell would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
