My client are a property management firm looking for a maintenance manager to join their ambitious plans for growth. The maintenance manager will be responsible for managing a team of skilled maintenance staff, maintenance planners, cleaners and overall management of the clients needs in relation to the upkeep of their portfolio. The ideal maintenance manager will be commercially savvy and be strong at managing maintenance staff in previous roles. You will ideally come from a background as a team leader within a property maintenance role; however this is not essential. What is essential is management experience, strong business acumen, problem solving skills and ideally a knowledge of either property maintenance, facilities or PPM knowledge. In the role of maintenance manager you will be comfortable managing staff, suppliers, clients and any issues that may arise as well as creating procedures of best practice to establish processes to optimise performance.
