Job Description:

Lamonby Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Domestic Heating Engineer to join a leading maintenance service company based in Kent who provide plumbing, heating, drainage and other various services to both domestic & commercial clients.

The Domestic Heating Engineer will be covering Central London and Surrounding Counties working on Domestic projects.

As a Domestic Plumbing and Heating Engineer you will be required to fulfil all aspects of plumbing maintenance and jobs to the required high standard and to carry out reactive emergency callouts. The job will include reactive maintenance, burst pipes, installation of taps and other plumbing fittings, maintenance and repairs, blocked toilets, hand basins, sinks, urinals etc and planned preventative maintenance, installations to both residential & commercial property & businesses.

Domestic Heating Engineer Role

To carry out diagnostics and repairs on commercial/domestic/plumbing boiler systems and appliances.

To carry out gas heating/plumbing installation.

To undertake, where necessary, associated work including minor building repairs as identified on site.

To identify, from inspection, materials required to carry out repairs or installation to the required standard.

To ensure the safe handling and storage of all plant and equipment, including regular checks for road worthiness on company vehicles for which you are responsible.

To undertake all work in accordance with Health & Safety policy statements and safe working practices.

To keep accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used.

To manage and control and be responsible for stock of materials held within a van.

To participate in the out of hours’ emergency call out requirements.

Good written and verbal English
