An opportunity has arisen for a strong residential Property Manager to join an independent lettings business with a residential portfolio based in Plymouth. This reputable Estate Agency has an established lettings business and is looking for an experience Property Manager who can manage their tenanted portfolio alongside their wider lettings team.
The successful Property Manager will be experienced within Property Management, and will be highly organised, personable, hardworking and reliable. You must be presentable, a good communicator, willing to learn and able to use your own initiative. You must have a good understanding of lettings legislation and have the ability to deal with high pressure situations and a busy and varied case load.
This role will primarily focus on the in-tenancy aspects of Property Management, working alongside the lettings negotiators, Lettings administrator and inhouse Inspections Clerk. Responsibilities will include building relationships by liaising with landlords and tenants, coordinating maintenance and contractor works, booking checkouts, issuing section notices, arranging safety checks, managing invoices and statements.
The Property Manager will have had previous experience working within an agency or property management firm. You must have experience in using Microsoft office packages and ideally have some experience of property management systems.
