A lovely Inclusive Primary School in a lovely area in Barnet are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to start after February half-term

• £75-90 per day, dependent on experience/qualifications.
• Full-time/long-term

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be prepared to work in a challenging but enjoyable environment. You will be joining an Inclusive Primary School with an Outstanding Ofsted Report. Your role as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be to support a child with a statement for Autism. You will be working in partnership with the class teacher and SENCO to devise plans and interventions to help boost the child’s learning and development. In addition to this you will be encouraging social interaction and independence. The school are looking for someone who has a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will:

Be proactive
Ideally have good experience working one to one or in groups
Work well in a team
Have a positive attitude
Have a passion for working with children with Special Needs
