Public Health Intelligence Specialist needed in Shrewsbury paying £17.06 per hr PAYE Ref: 412407
This is working full time hours on a temporary basis
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to deliver on the health needs assessment for SEND (special education needs and disability) and to support development of a wider Shropshire Joint Strategic Needs Assessment.
The successful candidate will utilise their analytical and epidemiological skills to bring data to life, synthesise data to create insight suitable for a range of audiences supporting decision making, be proactive and comfortable working across systems and on multiple projects.
Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate;
• Expert knowledge of data sources relevant to public health and wider health determinants
• Working knowledge of specialist statistical software such as SPSS and use of Power BI
• Experience in public health or local government.
