My client have grown so much over the last year, with one of their best-selling products seeing a massive increase of over 350% of the previous year’s orders. They now operate 7 days a week and are now looking for a Supervisor to join the team on a permanent basis. They have won multiple awards and you will be joining and expanding and recession proof business which can offer you stability over the next few years and beyond
What do we need from you I hear you ask?
You’re going to need to be a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably electrically biased. You will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing site, ideally fmcg but would also consider heavy industry, automotive, recycling etc. You must have at least 5 years hands on experience working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer ideally with some team leader/supervisory experience.
As a supervisor, your role will be hands on 50% and desk based 50% where you will be updating the brand new CMMS system, dealing with contractors, ordering spares and organising the team. You will be the first point of call for decision making so you need to be able to take ownership of this
Obviously, from time to time you will perform Reactive Maintenance, but you’ll have a real chance at driving efficiency and improvement across the site.
Duties and common issues include dealing with motor changes, working on robots, packaging systems, Pick and place robots, labellers, conveyor systems and much more automated machinery.
The working hours are 38 hours per week, meaning you will be earning £19-21ph, not bad for no nights! You will also finish early on a Friday – 12pm on the morning shifts and 8pm on the afternoon shift.
You can easily earn over £40,000 per year with overtime
