Software Developer in Test, C#, Testing, BDD, ATDD, Development, REST API

We’re looking for an SDET to join one of the UK market leader SaaS providers of technology to financial advice firms. If you’re interested in working within a Finance company but still want to be working on the latest technology, then this company could be for you!

You’ll need a true passion for building and testing bespoke web services in both an exploratory and automated manner. Along with strong analytical skills. You will have sat and driven conversations around quality with product owners and business customers.

You’ll need to have strong hands-on experience of testing Restful web services and/or asynchronous message-based systems, be able to follow DevOps practices and always be looking to improve their Ci/CD pipelines to make releases as fast, predictable and safe as possible. They use a combination of local builds, test environments and production to test their software, making use of A/B testing, blue-green deployments and canary-releases.

Development Experience needed.

• .NET Framework and .NET Core, C#
• AWS
• SNS, SQS
• SQL Server
• GitHub, Powershell, Jenkins
• Strong Rest API build experience

If you’re a lover of APi then they have their own in house APi test framework to test server-side software which is written in C#.
